Posted by Paul S on November 3, 2000, 1:01 pm , in reply to "Re: Anything Unusual?" 213.120.56.49 As you refer to the 1200 series, Derry has the set 1200-1209 (NXI1200-1209) and I have picture of 1201 these with the old style colours. Looking back it seem a bit of a waste because they were done initially with the Ulsterbus in big writing above the door/first window. Then they recived advertising wings/ slightly different colours/ all over advertising in a very haphazard way. 1207 and 1208 went on to advertise Harp and Bass respectively(all over) I think 1200 and 1201 had got their ad boards for ages before any of the others (and did not advertise anything for quite a while). So some buses had got the new fleet colours without ad wings. All this meant was that the then Ulsterbus logo had to be moved from above the first window to above the door. I also have picture of 1276 and 1278 (OXI 1276/8) which seem to be semi-painted with the "old and new" styles in 1991. Responses: There are no responses to this message.
