Maybe that's a plot by fleet control to keep them on express services, where they should be. Why do Ulsterbus allocate high-spec coaches to local services, eg Belfast - Ballyclare, and yet allow express services to be operated by basic service buses? Recently the 252 was operated by one of the 65 seat Q types. I thought these were intended to be used for school buses, not on a prestige service such as the coast road express.
