    From a customer point of view, they don't present a very good image - they're noisy and not very smooth. They're old, and look it. If Translink want to get people back on their buses they need to invest in a lot more new buses, and reduce the fares. Look at Dublin - they have a very impressive modern fleet, and carry many more passengers per bus than Citybus seem to do. A standard fare in Dublin (I think it's about £1.30) gives you a much longer ride than £1 in Belfast. Why would a car driver leave his nice modern car at home to travel on a 15 year old Bristol? And be charged £1 for a journey of no more than 3 miles?
