It is turning out to be a very interesting week on the Uni-Link service and its only Tuesday!!!!Yesterday saw the new deckers being used for the first time - 2935/6 and today Leopard 339 (BXI 339) was in use. Don't ask we why it was in use on this service or even why Laganside were operating it, but I am not complaining.
I have never seen a Leopard on the Uni-Link before so it was a nice surprise. 339 is in very good condition and it is a nice and fast bus. As it is a Laganside bus, there is no Uni-Link destination on the blind, so the driver used 163 PRIVATE.
Only other Leopard I have managed to get between Belfast and Jordanstown, was 248 (WOI 2248) on the 163 service out to Carrickfergus. 248 is that extra bit special as it is a 62 seater.
Well come on Ulsterbus, allocate Great Victoria Street a fleet of Leopards for the Uni-Link (some chance!!!!!!!!!!!)
