I don't think Ulsterbus will beable to replace its Tiger fleet from 340 (DXI 3340) to 1299 (OXI 1299) by 2005 - it will be lucky if it does so by 2015!!
Its current plan is to replace all Bristols and Leopards in the next two years. This plan has been put into place with orders for low floor Volvo double deckers and Scania Solar low floor buses, but the new orders only are for about 55 new buses. There are still something like over 120 RELL's still in service and over 160 Leopards.
I would think Ulsterbus would be doing well if it replaces its Leopards by 2005. I think the majority of Tigers will be around for quite along time to come - I still consider them to be quite a modern bus and very comfortable buses to travel on.
