    The deckers are better suited to the Uni-link as they have a higher seating capacity - 56 as opposed to 76. The buses cannot carry a standing load as they travel along the motorway, but one way to overcome this is to go along Shore Road, this may be longer but the bendis are able to carry about 1.5 times the capacity of a decker, sometimes I think they need two deckers to operate from Queens or from Jordanstown and bus to pick up in Belfast. The bendis would be better, but that would require changing the route licence from along the M2/5 to along Shore Road.

    The million pound question is, would the management see this logical and fairly obvious alternative?
