Tiger 408 is a very powerful bus. What is the problem with semi automatic? The bus rarely needs to change gear over the journey and could hold 60 easily on the motorway. I could imagine that a journey from Newtownabbey to Belfast down the Shore Road in a Gardiner engined Tiger or even a Bristol would be as unappealing?
