I would say that most people don't seem to mind what kind of bus that they get.
But then again you always here people on your bus journeys comment on the types of buses used. Most people seem to like the comfort of the Goldliners, and last day I was on 1568 I overherd a girl say how much she liked Goldliners compared to normal buses.
Then you get the OAP's, now out in force on every bus journey because of their free transport!!
They like the comfort of Goldliners but like low floor buses.
I remember I was on a 119 Coleraine town service one day and got Tiger 371, and a number of people complained about the steep steps onto the bus.
When I was at school, my bus route was operated 99% of the time by a Leopard or Bristol. Anytime we got a Tiger (usually one of the DXI ones) people would say who nice it was to get a new bus. I would hardly call 1984 buses new!!
