What type of seats does 1489 have? Are they high-backed with black plastic on the rear or low-backed but still comfortable like on dual-purpose Tigers and Leopards? The high-backed ones like on 1384 (WXI 4384) from Downpatrick are really uncomfortable as there is hardly any legroom. Probably similar amount to the Mk. IV Goldliners but at least they have a foot rest so you can raise your knees up away from the most cramped part. In Downpatrick we are really lucky now to have 3 of the Mk. II (TXI) Goldliners (1349, 1351 and 1352) which have 49 really comfortable seats with lots of legroom. And they are mostly used on normal services now which means everybody gets a chance to experience the comfort.
