Posted by Scott Mackey on November 29, 2000, 5:18 pm 195.92.194.107 Interestingly, Darts 614/615 which were recently placed in reserve from Ballymena (I think) are about to be reinstated in Lisburn alongside 601, 612, 613. Lisburn is suffering from severe bus shortages at the moment. Wright Renown 2837 was involved in a major accident on the new Westlink busway on Monday 27th November when it slid and collided head on with Plaxton Excalibur 1653 (I think). 2837 was written off and is back in Wright's, Ballymena for repair. This is compounded by a number of breakdowns this week including Mark 1 Goldliner 522 and Tiger 469. The Darts are being relocated to ease the pressure on the remaining vehicles at Lisburn depot.
