As far as I know the Irish Transport Trust Bus Rally takes place at Bangor durring a Saturday near the end of April. I think anyone can attend.
As for the new Scania Solars they are due to arrive during the spring of 2001. I have seen Solar 2021 parked up in Antrim depot a couple of weeks ago but I think it spends most of its time in Larne. The Solar is a very modern looking bus and should be very comfortable to travel in. The new Volvo double deckers are also expected in Belfast at around the same time so there should be alot of changes in the local bus scene over the next year. The sad think about all the new buses entering the fleet, is that many more RELL's and Leopards will pass to reserve. I think that you will see many more ex-Citybus RELL's in Derry and many other depots across Northern Ireland.
