1348 came to Dromore (sub depot of Lisburn) from Newry in October 1999.
Since then it seems that it has been nothing short of a constant headache. The vehicle has 890,000 k's on the clock and has blown 4 radiators since being transferred. The fourth blown radiator occured at 3.30 this afternoon (Fri 15th) and as a result was unable to operate the 3.45pm 38 service from Belfast Europa to Banbridge. There were no spare buses available so the service didn't run at all.
It is on occasions like this when 1348 is off the road that Leopards end up being used on the 7.10am Belfast Express from Dromore.
All the drivers in Dromore agree that the bus is, to quote one "a bundle of scrap". It is true that 1348 has seen better days.
