Today I got the 0900 212 to Belfast. Usually done by a standard Goldliner but today was done by 3000(DAZ 3000) and it had to be the coldest bus journey I ever had. While aboard I thought it felt uncomfortable(despite the lack of heat). Was this one of the original CityExpress buses and do later versions 3002/3 (JAZ 3002/3) have reclining seats and a bar underneath the seat in front of you to rest your feet on like the other Goldliners? Meanwhile, in Belfast I got the 9 to Carnmoney- now renamed the White Knucke Express. The driver seemed unaware of a few things: 1- The fact that there are ramps on Royal Avenue 2-There is a line of sort of concrete slabs along the road (we now them as kerbs) and he seemed to constantly make us aware of their presence. 3-There are white lines on the road for a reason. 4-There were passengers on the bus. Now maybe I am just complaining unjustly but the fact that the return journey from Abbeycentre (operated by the same bus/driver-2638) took all of 10 minutes is a bit worrying. I couldn't see drivers here in Derry getting away with such behaviour as an Inspector could be round the next corner and I wonder if questions are asked if a bus arrives at is terminus so early. Are all the above standard on Citybus?
