Posted by FRED on October 17, 2000, 4:48 pm , in reply to "Bristol RE 2599 BXI 2599" 193.61.159.18 It is interesting to note that Coleraine was allocated the last 3 Bristol RE's registered - 2598 BXI 2598 , 2599 BXI 2599 + 2600 BXI 2600. 2598 moved to Londonderry early in 2000 , while 2600 was destroyed in Ballycastle when the trouble over the marching season started about 5 or 6 year's ago. Coleraine RE fleet has been greatly reduced in the last year with RE's such as 2382 UOI 2382, 2398/9 UOI 2398/9, 2440 WOI 2440, 2454 WOI 2454 and 2459 WOI 2459 passing to reserve.
