Due to a number of accidents - a directive from fleet control is to have yellow refelective strips added to the rear bumpers of all buses. 1550 of Newry and 1348, 308, 309 of Lisburn have also had them applied.
The engineers in Lisburn showed me a memo from Milewater Road with diagrams of how these are to be applied to the different types of bus - so far it has been decided how to apply them to all Tiger N Types, Cityliners, Leopards, Bristols (service buses) while a more discreet approach is being considered for coaches and Goldliners.
