To whom it may concern,
I am a student at Ashfield Girls' High School, Holywood Road, Belfast, Northern Ireland. We have just won the Northern Ireland finals of the International Rock Challenge 2001 for the third year in succession. Rock Challenge is a global dance competition, with the emphasis on healthy living and a drug, smoke and alcohol free lifestyle, for young people. This is why we have approached your company, as we will be using your facilities to get to england.
We have been invited to take part in the UK Northern Final in England on the 26th May 2001, (which we won last year), but we need to raise sponsorship to help pay travel and accommodation expenses for approximately 150 students and teachers. We successfully raised quite a lot of money last year and are attempting generate the same support this year.
We appreciate that you get many appeals and hope you can look favourably upon ours.
