The 10.30 to Creggan is run by a big bus to cover for minibus tea break and is operate by duty 53.If a minibus driver operates a minibus duty in a bus with more than 25 seats then he get paid the higher rate 2.11 instead of 2.10, but if a big bus driver operates a minibus duty in a minibus he gets paid the 2.11 rate because of the pay agreement on a minimum wage, a driver can be given more money over and above his basic wage but they can't take money off him.
These runs mentioned by Paul are what as known as tea runs do that a minibus driver can have a break. Martin said that there was only 3 people on the bus in total, apparently the management want to withdraw the service because it is making a loss, but when they tried there was an uproar, so the services continues... at a loss.
