1240 may have been a Downpatrick bus, a sister of 1239 which is still there. I vaguely remember looking through a pile of old fleet control memos showing 1239 and 1240 were allocated to DP when new. It might possibly have been burned during internment day riots at the Flying Horse estate in Downpatrick; I remember 1 or 2 Tigers were destroyed here but it would have been in the early 1990s when I was only familiar with the Leopards we got to school and didn't know much about the rest of the fleet.
