Re: new coaches Posted by Paul K on May 28, 2001, 9:12 pm , in reply to "515 back, 203 and new coaches" 143.117.110.80 695, 698 and 699 were down at Queen's University on Thursday evening on Bill Clinton duties. I had been wondering if there was a 697 as this fleet number has been re-used very quickly after the ex-Sureline DAF coach left Downpatrick last year. The new coaches are Caetano Enigmas and have a very rounded body style with round headlights and lots of curves everywhere. I think the front of them looks really strange and old-fashioned (but quite nice) with a large radiator grille that reminded me of the old Lough Swilly Van Hool coaches, 248 being the only one I ever saw in service.
