recently i was on the number 24 bus traveling from belfast city centre to the Braniel terminus.whilst on said bus on said route i had the misfortune of being mugged by 3 youths. I was severly beaten and lost the sight in one eye. I on recovering conciousness I reported the incident to the driver who had some how managed to miss the entire episode including my frantic screams for help. said driver then informed me that only a third of the city buses actually carry film in their crime stopping cameras and his was one with no film, you can imagine my surprise.
However with the exception of my diminished depth perception and a few missing teeth I am right as rain now and am back using the same bus route with confidence, I do not hold ulster bus responsible for the actions of these viscious young hoodlums and realise it was an isolated incedent.
In fact recently actually on the same route i met that same driver we both had a good laugh especially when i showed him my empty eye socket.
