I would be very interested in such a venture. It would be useful to pass the PSV driving test first, though! If such a group was formed, it wouldn't cost too much to buy an old Leopard or Bristol RE as a driver told me that they're only worth about £2000 now. I also think that older Leopards generally sound better, so 1984 might be a good buy. I was on Stagecoach Western Alexander Y-type bodied Leopard 669 on Sunday; it was operating the rail replacement from Girvan to Stranraer, and it sounded amazing! It also featured the Bristol RE-style gearbox (i.e. connected to the steering wheel).
