I think, the ELBs are going to buy MAN's in future. Welb are in the process of contracting out alot of their runs that use Albions and keaping their Javlin, Mercedes OH, Minibus and special care runs. I don't know why as it would be cheaper to run them themselves, but a bus needs money to be kept on the road, someting which is in short supply in the ELBs, also they are quite expensive during the months of July and August as they are not on the road that often, many of the buses can be seen in schools and technical colleges during these months as they are in storage.
Does anyone have a list of the types of buses that the other ELBs have excluding WELB (NEELB, BELB, SEELB and I forget the other one). Please e-mail it to me. Thanks Ciaran
