-Today Derry City based 1202 (NXI 1202) was operating in Great Victoria Street.
-The Antrim Tiger that I said had the cages over its skylights is 1215 (NXI 4215) and today it was operating the Antrim Express from the Europa bus centre. It is strange that Antrim uses so many of its Tigers on express services. The Antrim Goldliners are more often used for normal service work.
-Leopard 201 (VOI 201) was noted in service today [ according to the ITT's fleet new this bus is now in reserve]
-Something which I think is very unusual is the destination boards on the Coleraine based Dennis Dart Handybuses - 602 and 603 (CAZ 6602/3). It is quite funny to read the different destinations when a driver is changing services.
602/3 have all the different express services on their destination screens. It would be a rare site to see either 602 or 603 operating the Coleraine to Dublin Express!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Does anyone remember the fleet colours used when the early Tigers came into service. If you ever see a picture of one of the older Tigers at the start of its working life you will see it carries a rather dark blue colour all over the bus from the bottom of the windows, with Ulsterbus fleet names proudly displayed along the top. When did the Tiger's receive the colours that we all know so well today?
