I noticed the Citybus double deckers on the Ormeau Road this morning have the new typeface and use of lower case letters on their destination displays. The first sign of it was the number display on the back of the bus we were behind; the 83 just looked different and more aesthetically pleasing (in my opinion) with a more rounded 8 instead of the tall thin one before. Somebody said below somewhere that they thought changing the displays was a waste of time; I strongly disagree and think it is a really big improvement and well worth doing. Especially useful for people with poor eyesight (i.e. for making out the shapes of the words from far away; with capital letters all the words are the same shape), the small letters just look generally easier on the eye I think.
