    Ticket Machines

The new ticket machines are being installed at Downpatrick and Newcastle over the weekend and will come into use on Monday. Posters on the buses have almost exactly the same wording as the Citybus ones about having to state your destination to the driver etc. and ticket types remaining unchanged. It says 10-journey and 40-journey ticket holders will be issued with a receipt for each journey. Next Tuesday I will be using a 1-day freedom of Northern Ireland ticket (I have it left over from joining the Goldliner club) so I was just wondering how this works. Does anybody know how it works at Citybus? Are you given a receipt and if so is it one of the multi-journey types that doesn't say where you are going (would seem pointless really) or an OAP type (do they show the destination stop?).

Also I hardly know anything really---have the GPS locations of the fare stages been programmed into the machines or do we still have to rely on the bus drivers knowing where they start and end? Does anybody know what is the overall plan for Ulsterbus with regard to this?
