Coleraine has only got 2 of the older Goldliners - 525 (PXI 5525) and 1428 (WXI 4428). Both tend not to be used on the main Express routes but both operate the 5.30 Ballymena - Coleraine Express.
Ballymena on the other hand has only got 3 Plaxtons - 1575 (EAZ 2575), 1608 (JAZ 1608) and 1637 (BCZ 1637). 1637 never operates express services, as the first time it was used on the 219 Belfast - Ballymena it came back with a broken seat!!!
While 1575 and 1608 are used on the later express runs of the day.
During the day Ballymena uses all its old Goldliners - 514, 518 (PXI 5514/8), 1429, 1430 (WXI 4429/30).
I would agree with David that most depots use their older Goldliners less but Ballymena must be the exception?
Are there any other depots which use their older Goldliners more?
