I am planning a trip up to Londonderry on Wednesday. I have been in Derry City 3 or 4 times this year - it is a depot I like to visit, as there is a good range of different buses. I have been on quite a large number of LD buses but only 3 or 4 LY's. I don't know the City routes very well (even though there is very good info. on Ciaran's page) so I am always kind of worried about getting lost!! Each time I have been in the City I have travelled on the Rail Link service. Last time I was on this service 1208 (NXI 1208) was being used but I have also been on Ultras on this service. What other buses are involved in operating this service - is there ever any Bristol's or LD buses. One thing that I have noticed on every trip to Derry is Renown 8842 (or should that be 2842???) Why does 2842 have the wrong fleet number displayed? |
